Reviews
I decided to try Sea Breeze Fish Market and Grill because it was recommended by Resy. I made the reservation through Resy (the only place you can make a reservation for this restaurant), but I was surprised that when I got to the restaurant, they couldn't find my reservation. I was lucky that the restaurant was not busy, so we got seated right away.
This establishment is a sea food market and restaurant, I don't think I've been in one of those before.
The food was very fresh and tasted as such. It wasn't over top. It tasted simple and not over seasoned. The desserts were good and tasty, I have a sweet tooth! We had the eggnog flavored creme brulee and a pie with ice cream. I also enjoyed the service. The waitress we had, even those that walked by, were so nice, and if we needed anything, they were quick to assist and also inform our server.
I also liked the fact that the seafood was flown in fresh every day, and you could purchase some on your way out. I did enjoy looking at the live lobsters, and you can pick one to be cooked for you at Market Price.
I've been here around 20-30 times, and it is great! I LOVE The New England lobster roll. It's my favorite one of all time. They have a bar inside with a good selection of wine and beer. Everyone in my family loves this place and there is always plenty of parking even on a Saturday. They also had a really good pumpkin sage crusted flounder that is seasonal, so if you see it on the menu, then try it! Friendly staff always. I've been going here for around 15 years now, and it never disappoints.
Hands down best seafood restaurant in all of DFW that doesn't try hard to be "upscale" or "high end" like so many other places in town. They let the product speak for itself.
Speaking of product, they fly their fish fresh every day and they are family owned which is a rarity these days. Customer service is top notch and the food is of course top quality too. I feel like the place is a hiden gem and the select few know about it. I was surprised by their cocktail selection which felt more of a handcrafted cocktail vibe (you can tell the bartender takes his job seriously). I will not eat seafood anywhere else in town than here
We tried this place years ago and went back when I read about the new lounge (The Wilfred) attached. I’m glad we made it back, quite a good dinner! We were seated promptly at our reservation time (it looked almost full at 7pm). We started with some of the piping hot bread with pesto oil.
I tried the crab stuffed shrimp, served with two sides, I went with slaw and hush puppies. Quite a tasty dish. I liked the crispy topping and the rich flavorful beurre blanc served with it. The blackened scallops with broccoli & mashed potatoes was also good. Nice seasoning on the scallops and they were cooked perfectly. Nice wine list and the cocktails sounded good.
Service was good. Our server was friendly and food came out quickly.
I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
WOW! Last time here 2015. way overdue so we came for birthday supper for SHE who cashes my retirement check. Friday night lots of friends and family in attendance. Glad we made reservation as by 7pm all the tables were taken. Excellent service and food preparations. Wait staff did great job. Cocktails were yummy. We will try to get back here sooner than later but lots more competition for our supper budget than back in 2015. FIRST REVIEW 2015: Great place to meet with friends and family for fish lunch and/or supper. Haven't been in ages and then it was for lunch. Tonight we ate with friends who go once a month as it a favorite of theirs. Lots of food and plenty for leftovers. We need to go back again for lunch.
Where to start? First off, i never announce that i am a local guide with 1.5 million views of my photos However, i was seated at the bar and advised my server that I was from Cape Cod before I ordered my "chowdah". While i had planned to get "The best lobster roll in DFW", the Crab Stuffed Haddock caught my eye on the menu. I ordered both. Mind you there were 2 other couples at the bar and I definitely became the fifth wheel. Then it began. The chowder was served without any oyster crackers, my first siren went off. The chowder was plain and as thin as a runway model. Too much green 'stuff' and no hint of bacon. This clam soup rated a 6 at best. I ordered sides of "whipped potatoes and carrots" and "spaghetti squash". When my entree arrived i couldn't identify any item on my plate. The stuffing was atop a thin piece of white fish best described as scrod. Not a lick of crab was found in the stuffing. The potatoes and carrots were whipped together, with the carrots in tiny cubes. They were room temperature - one bite and done. I moved on to the unidentifiable green stuff and discovered that it was emaciated brussel sprouts. I hate brussel sprouts. There's a before and after pic of my plate. One bite each of the sidese. I ate all the scrod, still searching for a glint of crabmeat. It never showed up. Upon clearing server stated"Isee you weren't pleased. Sorry about that'. He handed me a full bill. Such a disappointment after I was so looking forward to great seafood. Not in this joint.
The calamari was lightly fried, the beer battered fish was delicious go for the halibut. The drinks were strong and on point! Service is a little slow and the price is a little high compared to other seafood competitors.
Nice sea food place . Ambience was good we went close to closing hours for quick Togo and they were happy to help us. We ordered gumbo and prawn cocktail. Both were good.
